Extensive checks of motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds have begun in Bishkek, conducted by the traffic police. This was reported in a press release from the agency.
According to the information, such preventive measures started with the arrival of warm weather and are aimed at increasing road safety, reducing the number of traffic accidents, and improving discipline among two-wheeled vehicle drivers.
During the raids, inspectors check for the necessary documents and the compliance of the vehicles' technical specifications with their standards. In case of violations, such as engine displacement discrepancies or lack of documents, appropriate reports are drawn up.
Additionally, the traffic police conduct explanatory conversations with motorcyclists, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules and the necessity of using protective gear.
The agency emphasizes that operating vehicles with violations poses a danger both to the drivers themselves and to other road users.
