According to local authorities, the installation of solar-powered street lighting has been completed on most streets of the city.
According to the municipal enterprise "Kyzyl-Kiya Tazalyk," a total of 6 million 699 thousand soms has been invested in the project to date. New lighting fixtures have been installed in the following key areas:
- Asanaliev, Lenin, and Abdullayev streets;
- BAM district;
- 14th and 15th microdistricts;
- central street Vostok-2.1.
In order to further develop the lighting system, the municipal enterprise has additionally purchased 170 sets of lighting poles for a total of 8 million 500 thousand soms.
Each installation is an autonomous device that includes:
- a solar panel;
- an LED lamp;
- a battery;
- a control controller;
- a metal pole with a concrete base.
