How much do eggs cost in Bishkek: a review of prices in markets and stores
In order to stabilize prices for chicken eggs, the Antimonopoly Regulation Service on March 11 addressed the Association of Poultry Farmers of the Kyrgyz Republic with a warning about the need to revise pricing policies, as well as the inadmissibility of actions that could lead to violations of legislation.

According to information from the press service of the antimonopoly regulation, a monitoring of retail prices for chicken eggs was conducted from March 14 to 15. As a result, a decrease in prices was noted both in markets and in various retail outlets in Bishkek.
In the city's retail chains, the price of eggs ranges from 110 to 150 soms per dozen, depending on the category, producer, and location of the store. Specifically:

In other large and small retail outlets in Bishkek, the price for chicken eggs varies from 110 to 160 soms for 10 pieces.
The average price reduction was from 1 to 3 soms per unit.
As part of efforts to stabilize prices, the Antimonopoly Service held meetings and explanatory talks with representatives of retail chains and poultry farms.

As a result of the cooperation, agreements were reached to prevent unjustified price increases, ensure sufficient supply in the market, and adhere to the principles of fair competition.

The Service will continue to systematically monitor the price situation in the chicken egg market to respond promptly to possible price changes.
