A kindergarten for children with disabilities has begun construction in Bishkek

A preschool institution for 250 places will be created taking into account the specific needs of children

A capsule was laid in Bishkek for the construction of the kindergarten "Үмүт чырагы," which is intended for children with disabilities. This event is highlighted by the press service of the cabinet of ministers, headed by Adylbek Kasymaliev.

Kasymaliev emphasized that this project demonstrates special attention to the interests of children and their families. He noted the importance of creating such institutions for both society as a whole and for parents raising children with special needs.

According to him, the construction of the new kindergarten is part of a broader strategy to improve preschool education in Kyrgyzstan. Currently, the enrollment rate of children in kindergartens has increased from 28.3% in 2024 to 51% in 2025. There are more than 2,300 kindergartens operating in the republic, serving over 320,000 children. By 2030, it is planned to achieve an enrollment rate of 80%.

The construction is being carried out with the support of Artvin Development Company.

The project includes the creation of a modern two-story kindergarten for 250 places with a total area of over 3,400 square meters. It will feature classrooms, gymnastics and speech therapy rooms, as well as a contact zoo, providing conditions for the comprehensive development of children.
