The official opening of the event is scheduled for March 21 at 11:00.
According to Tashtanbekova, on March 20, in anticipation of Nowruz, employees of local institutions and enterprises will prepare sümölök in two large cauldrons. Guests from the capital are also expected to attend the celebration, including State Secretary Aslan Koichiev, as well as representatives from other regions.
Yurts will be set up in the square, and a theatrical concert program will take place, where sümölök will be distributed to residents and guests of the city. There are also plans to organize national games and a fair, where products from local producers and guests from other regions can be purchased. In the evening, at 18:00, a gala concert featuring popular artists of the Kyrgyz stage will be held," she added.
Tashtanbekova noted that about 2 million soms have been allocated from the city budget for the festive events.
