








Free clubs for children have been organized in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, which will help them effectively spend their holidays. This information was announced at the Bishkek city hall.
Sverdlovsky District
In the Children's Creativity Center of the Sverdlovsky District, comprehensive work is being carried out to develop creative, intellectual, and technical skills in children and adolescents.
The main building of the Center is located at: 109 Jumabek Street. There are also branches and clubs at the following addresses: 100 Yaltinskaya Street, 77 Alamedin-1 microdistrict, 1/3 Mambetov Street, and 424 Almatinskaya Street.
The Center offers a variety of club activities. There are early development studios "Pochemuchka" and "Bilgim kelet," a language studio "East&West English," a chess club "Aqylman," as well as programs in mental arithmetic and computer literacy.
Great attention is paid to the preservation and popularization of national culture: there are folk and modern dance ensembles "Kauhar," "Jaz," "Kiyalkech," "Taazhy," a folklore ensemble "Azem," a komuz ensemble "Üch kyl," and an ooz komuz group "Keremet," as well as studios of decorative and applied arts such as "BiserOk," "Volshebnuy klubok," "Cheber koldor," "Aykelchi," "Cheber Darkan."
Technical and modern creative directions are also available: "Murasher" (beginner modeling), "Polet" (aeromodelling), "312 ArtHouse" (visual arts), a vocal club, guitar "Altyn kyl," a stage speech studio "Süylö ART," acting "Qaarman," and a youth association "Manas."
Oktyabrsky District
In the Children's Creativity Center of the Oktyabrsky District "Shayir balalyk," systematic work is organized for the additional education of children and adolescents.
In the CDT "Shayir balalyk" and its branches, there are 70 clubs.
The main building of the Center is located at: 14/1 microdistrict 3. Additionally, there are clubs — "Tunguch," "Erudite," "Nadezhda," "Etud," "Masterok," "Aruna," as well as clubs based in 7 schools of the Oktyabrsky District.
Work is carried out in several directions:
— artistic and aesthetic (visual arts, decorative and applied creativity, design, vocals, dance, acting);
— physical culture and sports (chess, wushu, tennis, boxing, kickboxing, judo, yoga);
— technical creativity (aeromodelling, robotics, digital design);
— social and intellectual development (logic, conversational English, polyglot, expressive reading, "know yourself," and other directions).
Classes are held both in the main building of the Center and in the microdistricts of Tunguch, Kok-Zhar, Asanbay, as well as in schools No. 100, No. 88, No. 60, No. 3, No. 64, No. 73, and No. 103.
Leninsky District
The Children's Creativity Center of the Leninsky District offers all conditions for the comprehensive development of children and adolescents.
The institution is located at: 130 Bakayev Street, and includes the club "Yrys" (111 Sh. Rustaveli Street). Training is provided free of charge in Kyrgyz and Russian languages.
In the CDT, there are clubs in the areas of artistic and aesthetic, musical and stage, technical, sports, and intellectual development. Children can engage in decorative and applied arts, choreography, vocals, playing the komuz, television journalism, digital technologies, aeromodelling, and various sports, including national martial arts.
Additionally, the Center's clubs operate based in schools in the Leninsky District. A total of 48 clubs are offered, where more than 2100 children are engaged.
Also, the municipal institution of additional education "Station of Young Technicians" in the Leninsky District provides accessible and free additional education for children and adolescents in the capital.
The Station of Young Technicians has been one of the leading centers for technical and creative development of youth for 37 years. Currently, 1988 children are studying in the institution's clubs, of which 18% are representatives of socially vulnerable categories. The educational process is supported by 45 qualified teachers.
The training covers six main areas: technical (robotics, IT, aviation and automotive modelling), artistic and aesthetic, intellectually developing, musical and stage, sports, and tourism and local history.
Due to the construction of a new modern 4-story building at 144 Lev Tolstoy Street, the educational process is temporarily organized at the bases of 12 general education schools in the Leninsky District. The completion of the construction of the new building, which will cover more than 2500 sq. m, is expected in the IV quarter of 2026. The new building will be equipped with modern IT classrooms, robotics laboratories, 3D printers, laser machines, and an observatory, which will allow the number of students to increase to 2500.
From 2024 to 2026, the SYT is actively implementing new directions: additional groups in robotics are being opened, jewelry is being developed, and the ethnic direction "Örnök" is being implemented to revive national values.
First of May District
The First of May Children's Creativity Center also offers additional education.
The main building of the Center is located at: 21 T. Moldov Street, and there is also a club functioning at 104 Bokonbaev Street.
Currently, the Center operates 46 clubs, some of which are organized based in the schools of the district.
The activities are carried out in the following directions:
— decorative and applied and technical creativity (bead weaving, appliqué, origami, working with felt, visual arts, robotics);
— musical and stage direction (komuz, vocals, folklore);
— musical and aesthetic and sports (folk and modern dances, theatrical art, artistic reading, stage speech, volleyball);
— intellectual and social development (English language, programming, media, "Manas studies," chess, youth associations).
