On March 15, 2026, the internal affairs department of the city of Tokmak received a report that a man with a stab wound had been found in one of the apartments located in the 3rd microdistrict. This was reported by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region.
A forensic investigative team was dispatched to the scene. Upon inspecting the apartment, the body of M.B., born in 1980, was found in a sitting position, with a stab wound to the chest and no signs of life.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The investigation revealed that the injuries were inflicted by the deceased's common-law wife, a woman named K.Z., born in 1974.
According to preliminary data, during a verbal altercation, she stabbed her common-law husband in the chest with a kitchen knife, resulting in his death at the scene.
The body of M.B. has been sent to the morgue in the city of Tokmak, and the knife was seized from the scene of the incident. Appropriate forensic medical examinations have been appointed.
K.Z. was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
