The incident occurred on March 15, when at 6:47 AM, the duty station of the Tokmok police received a report that a man with a stab wound had been found in one of the apartments in the 3rd microdistrict.
In response to this call, an investigative-operational group was organized, which discovered the body of 43-year-old citizen M.B. in a sitting position with a stab wound to the chest, showing no signs of life.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 122 (murder) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the investigation, it was established that the murder was committed by the common-law wife of the deceased, 49-year-old K.Z. According to preliminary reports, she stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife during a verbal argument, which led to his death on the spot.
The body of M.B. was sent to the Tokmok morgue, and a knife was seized from the crime scene. Relevant forensic examinations have been appointed.
K.Z. has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
