Representatives of the authorities, scholars, and colleagues of the writer participated in the farewell ceremony.


On March 15, a farewell ceremony was held in Bishkek for Kenesh Jusupov, an outstanding cultural figure, Hero of Labor of the Kyrgyz Republic, and people's writer. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Among those present at the event were State Secretary Arslan Koychiev and Minister of Culture Mirbek Mambetaliev, who noted in their speeches the significant contribution of Jusupov to the preservation of the country's cultural heritage, characterizing him as the "voice of the era," capable of conveying the grandeur of the epic "Manas."

Kenesh Jusupov, whose career began in 1958, received numerous high awards during his lifetime, including the Order of "Manas" II degree and the Toktogul Prize. His outstanding legacy, including the 40-volume work "Kyrgyz," will forever remain in the golden fund of the history of Kyrgyzstan.
