The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan plans to purchase 200 ambulances. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Health Tilek Mamadaliev at a meeting where the work of two parliamentary groups was discussed.

Tilek Mamadaliev noted that funding for the purchase of vehicles will be provided by the World Bank.

“We plan to complete the purchase of new vehicles by the end of 2026,” he added.

However, later, in response to a question about the number of vehicles that will be acquired, the Deputy Minister clarified that it is expected to purchase between 300 and 400 ambulances by the end of the current year, which will then be distributed across the regions.

It should be noted that the shortage of ambulances remains a significant problem for Kyrgyzstan, especially in the capital.
