The reconstruction of the "Manas Ordo" complex continues
According to information provided by the presidential representative in the region, a field technical meeting took place on March 12 at the site, attended by leaders from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services. During the discussion, the pace of work, the elimination of identified shortcomings, and the improvement of construction processes were reviewed. In light of the warming weather, it was decided to organize work shifts in two stages. Additionally, landscaping and improvement of the adjacent area will begin in the near future.
One of the key tasks of the project will be the complete renovation of the museum, which will triple in size from 400 to 1200 square meters upon completion. As part of this reconstruction, the construction of a modern congress hall with 300 seats and a two-story administrative building with an area of 1000 square meters is planned.
A complete reconstruction of the existing "Tülöökana" and "Meimankana" facilities is also planned.
Construction work began on November 13, 2025, when President Sadyr Japarov laid the capsule for the new facilities during his working visit to the Talas region.
The completion of all work is scheduled for August 31, 2026. This year, the main celebrations dedicated to the Independence Day of Kyrgyzstan will take place in Talas at the site of the updated "Manas Ordo" complex.
