Among the esteemed guests at the opening ceremony were Marat Tagaev, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Liu Jiangping, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Kyrgyzstan. The event gathered renowned figures in the arts, experts, and enthusiasts of Eastern culture under one roof.
Speaking to those present, the organizers noted that such exhibitions contribute to strengthening humanitarian ties between the two countries. The horse, chosen as the central symbol, holds special significance for both nations, representing a sacred symbol of will, nobility, and tireless energy. Furthermore, historically, the horse has served as a connecting link along the Great Silk Road, uniting various civilizations over the centuries. The exhibition also symbolizes a new stage in bilateral relations, taking place in the Year of the Horse according to the Eastern calendar.
Residents and guests of the capital can view around 50 works of art created by outstanding masters from China. These pieces are executed in traditional ink techniques and showcase a variety of styles, ranging from detailed realism to expressive abstractions. Each canvas reflects profound philosophical ideas and the uniqueness of the Chinese artistic tradition.
The exhibition can be visited until March 24 inclusive. It is held at the National Historical Museum at the address: Chuy Avenue, 203.
