A draft decision "On the consent to the free transfer of land plots into state ownership, located at the addresses: Chuy Avenue, 108 and Kyiv Street, 55" has been submitted to the Bishkek City Council.
According to information provided by the mayor's office, on January 20, 2026, a letter was received from the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic (number 11/112) requesting the transfer of the specified land plots to state ownership.
In this regard, the Bishkek mayor's office adopted resolution No. 52 on February 23, 2026, which cancels:
- the local self-government resolution dated December 18, 1995, No. 253, regarding the provision of a land plot to the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic for the "House of Artists" at Chuy Avenue, 108;
- the mayor's resolution dated April 15, 2002, No. 215, on the transfer of a land plot to LLC "Areopag-Page" for an administrative-production building at Kyiv Street, 55.
It is expected that these plots will be transferred free of charge for "comprehensive development and harmonization of the architectural appearance of facilities and urban infrastructure".
