A draft resolution concerning the gratuitous transfer of land to state ownership has been submitted for consideration by the capital city kenesh. The specified plots are located at: Chuy Avenue, 108 and Kyiv Street, 55.

According to the mayor's office, on January 20, 2026, an official letter (number 11/112) was received from the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic requesting the transfer of these lands to state ownership.

In this context, the Bishkek mayor's office issued a resolution on February 23, 2026, No. 52, which cancels:


In order to ensure comprehensive development and create a unified architectural appearance for the capital, it is proposed to agree to the gratuitous transfer of municipal property to state ownership.

According to some information, these land plots will be used for new construction.
