According to the mayor's office, on January 20, 2026, an official letter (number 11/112) was received from the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic requesting the transfer of these lands to state ownership.
In this context, the Bishkek mayor's office issued a resolution on February 23, 2026, No. 52, which cancels:
- the local self-government resolution dated December 18, 1995, No. 253, granting the Union of Artists of the Kyrgyz Republic a land plot for the "House of the Artist" at Chuy Avenue, 108;
- the mayor's office resolution dated April 15, 2002, No. 215, which provided for the temporary use of the land plot at Kyiv Street, 55 for the LLC "Paging Company Areopag-Payj" for an administrative and production building.
In order to ensure comprehensive development and create a unified architectural appearance for the capital, it is proposed to agree to the gratuitous transfer of municipal property to state ownership.
According to some information, these land plots will be used for new construction.
