The ban on visiting the "Aigul-Tash" nature reserve in Batken has been extended until 2027
The Akim of the Batken district, Danir Imanaliev, signed the relevant decree, which restricts access to the reserve until March 1, 2027.
Previously, there was a ban on visiting this area, which was in effect from April 1, 2023, to April 1, 2026. The extension of security measures is related to the need to protect the rare Aigul flower, which is found exclusively in this region.
This closure of the area is aimed at creating a stricter protection regime and improving infrastructure.
After the completion of all planned activities, the reserve will be prepared for more convenient and safe visits by tourists.
