Amendments to the laws on internal migration and broadcasting have been adopted in the Parliament in the first reading
The deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh discussed and adopted a bill concerning amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Internal Migration" in the first reading. The Deputy Director of the state institution "Kyzmat," Ernes Dosaliev, presented the details of this bill.
According to him, the purpose of the amendments is to eliminate inconsistencies and clarify the list of documents required for the registration of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. This is intended to improve the regulation of the processes for the internal accounting of citizens.
It is important to note that the amendments will not worsen the situation of individuals with the status of qayrlyman. Their registration will be carried out according to the legislation on external migration and the law "On State Guarantees for Ethnic Kyrgyz Resettling to the KR," which provides social guarantees and benefits for this category of citizens.
In addition, the deputies also reviewed a bill concerning amendments to the Law "On Television and Radio Broadcasting." The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Marat Tagaev, stated that the main goal of this bill is to align its provisions with the new edition of the Digital Code and the Law "On Mass Media," adopted on August 6, 2025. As part of the proposed changes, it is planned to replace the phrase "Law on Electric and Postal Communications" with "Digital Code."
Additionally, the deputies adopted a bill concerning amendments to several legislative acts in the field of labor and social security, as well as recognizing some of them as having lost their force.
