In the coming days, the return of Kyrgyz citizens from Bahrain and Kuwait is expected. This was stated by Seitak Jumakadyrov, the director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to him, these evacuation measures are being carried out in accordance with the instructions of the president aimed at bringing citizens back from the Middle Eastern countries. The evacuation process will be conducted using a route through Saudi Arabia.
According to the information, there are 82 Kyrgyz citizens in Bahrain and 480 in Kuwait. It is expected that about 70 people will return from Kuwait, while approximately 40 will return from Bahrain. However, the number of returnees may change depending on the decisions of the citizens themselves. It is also worth noting that some citizens of Kyrgyzstan are in Qatar, added Jumakadyrov.
Earlier, the return of 420 Kyrgyz citizens from the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia was completed, who were evacuated on three flights. All expenses for their flights were covered by the state, he emphasized.
