On March 7, the opening ceremony of the Kyrgyz diaspora Ala Too Belgium took place in Flanders.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, this event, organized with the support of the embassy, symbolizes the strengthening of cultural ties between Kyrgyzstan and Belgium, as well as promoting the values of gender equality and a healthy lifestyle among Kyrgyz citizens.
During the event, representatives of the diaspora were presented with commemorative gifts, and a voluntary financial contribution was made to support the activities of Ala Too Belgium.
The establishment of this diaspora organization has become an important step in the development of the Kyrgyz community in Belgium and a continuation of the national project "I am a Citizen of Kyrgyzstan," which was approved by the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and aimed at strengthening civic identity and patriotism among Kyrgyz citizens.
