Citizens have noticed changes in their savings thanks to the "Tunduk" app
Social media users in Kyrgyzstan have expressed dissatisfaction regarding the decrease in their pension savings. They track their data through the "Tunduk" app and have noticed changes in the amounts over the winter period.
The country's Social Fund explained the reasons for such changes.
According to the current tax legislation, starting from 2019, the functions of collecting insurance contributions and processing reports have been fully transferred to the Tax Service. This means that the information on citizens' personal accounts is generated in several stages. Employers report income tax and insurance contributions to the tax authorities, after which this data is transferred to the Social Fund. Based on the received information, automatic crediting to the individual accounts of insured persons occurs.
As explained by the Social Fund, cases where users observe a decrease in the amount or its incorrect display are usually related to clarifying reports submitted by organizations.
“If a company's accountant initially submitted a report with one amount and then submitted a correction with lower values due to error corrections, the system automatically updates the information on the personal account according to the latest document from the Tax Service,” the fund added.
It is important to note that the Social Fund does not have the right to independently change the amounts of insurance contributions without official confirmations from the tax authorities.
If discrepancies are found in the "Tunduk" app, users are recommended to:
- contact the accounting department at their workplace to clarify the data in the reports;
- reach out to the district tax office to verify the accuracy of the submitted information;
- visit any regional office of the Social Fund for detailed information about their personal account.
