A new production workshop has been opened at the Chui PES, which will focus on the production of traverses for overhead power lines with a voltage of 35–10 kV.
According to information from the company's press service, the establishment of its own workshop is aimed at improving the material and technical base and enhancing the reliability of electricity supply for residents of the Chui region. Traverses play a key role in the structure of power line supports, ensuring a reliable connection between wires and insulators, which contributes to increased resistance to various climatic and wind loads.
Previously, traverses were purchased from third-party suppliers; however, now, with the launch of its own production, the company will gain several advantages:
- reduction of construction and installation and repair work timelines;
- rapid supply of necessary materials for district electrical networks;
- reduction of production costs;
- improvement of quality control of the produced products.
The new workshop utilizes advanced metal processing technologies, and all stages of production are carried out in accordance with established technical standards and industrial safety regulations.
