Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, Erlis Akunbekov's visit to the agrofirm "Chabrets" allowed him to familiarize himself with advanced methods used in animal husbandry, as well as the overall processes at the enterprise.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the minister held a meeting with veterinary specialists, where he learned about the system of digital identification of animals. This system involves the use of special tags attached to each animal, allowing data about breed, origin, and other characteristics to be entered into an electronic database, which facilitates effective control.
Akunbekov also got acquainted with high-yield breeds of cattle, such as Swiss and Holstein-Friesian, as well as hybrid calves. It was noted that keeping calves in individual houses improves their health and helps prevent the spread of diseases.
According to the department, the agrofirm "Chabrets" cultivates about 3,000 hectares for growing feed and grain crops, which allows providing livestock complexes with high-quality and environmentally friendly feed. The processes of milking, cooling, and feed preparation at the enterprise are automated using modern equipment.
In addition, breeds of cattle such as Aberdeen-Angus, Alatau, and Holstein-Friesian, as well as Gissar sheep, are raised here, allowing for the production of both meat and dairy products.
To date, the agrofirm "Chabrets" offers natural and high-quality dairy and sausage products, making a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex and ensuring the domestic market of the country.
