As part of the celebration of International Women's Day on March 8, the mayor of Osh, Janarbek Akaev, together with organizations supporting social initiatives, held a gathering for women working in municipal institutions of the city.
According to the municipality, in his address, the mayor emphasized the important role of women in society and expressed gratitude for their invaluable contribution to the development of the city and the maintenance of family traditions.
At the conclusion of the event, timed to coincide with the holy month of Ramadan, 300 social workers were presented with food packages as humanitarian aid.
