Today, Sadyr Japarov, the president of Kyrgyzstan, held an iftar for the believers at the central mosque named after Imam Sarakhsi in Bishkek, according to information from the Presidential Administration.
In his speech, he congratulated those gathered on the beginning of the holy month of Orozо and called on everyone to strengthen their faith, show compassion, support one another, and perform good deeds.
The head of state emphasized that during this holy time, it is especially important to care for one another, help those in need, and strive for spiritual purification.
He expressed hope that the prayers and good intentions of the believers would be heard, and that peace, prosperity, and harmony would reign in every home.
Additionally, the president wished that the month of fasting would become a time of spiritual joy, enhancing the desire for good deeds and mutual understanding.
At the conclusion of the event, the president participated in iftar and performed namaz with the parishioners.
