Awards were presented to women in the city of Karakol

A ceremonial event dedicated to March 8, International Women's Day, took place in Karakol.

About 300 women from various regions gathered for the event: among them were heroic mothers, labor veterans, professionals from various fields, as well as women with disabilities and active youth.

Representatives of the city administration delivered welcoming speeches. The city is home to 98 heroic mothers and 79 women awarded the "Ene danky" medal (which translates to "Mother's Glory").

During the official part of the event, honorary awards were presented. The badge of the Karakol City Council "For Merits to the City" was awarded to three residents:

- Nadezhda Nikolaevna Balabanova — an employee of the municipal enterprise "Vodokanal";

- Dinara Zairbekova Yesenalievna — a teacher at school No. 11;

- Damira Kozhobekovna Toktosunova — an economist at the Issyk-Kul Regional Unified Hospital.

In addition, 10 more women received Certificates of Honor from the city administration of Karakol for their work and active participation in community life.

The official part concluded with a concert featuring cultural workers from the city who presented musical and dance performances to the audience.
