In the near future, corrected data from the first selection of applicants conducted by the Ministry of Science will be sent to the Tempus Foundation, which is responsible for implementing the Stipendium Hungaricum program. After that, the process of further processing by the Hungarian authorities will begin.
Recently, readers of 24.kg expressed dissatisfaction with the national selection for the scholarship program in 2026, as serious questions arose among the candidates. Unlike previous years, the Ministry did not publish a general list of recommended candidates, sending the results individually without a public announcement of the final list.
Among those who did not pass the selection were students with high academic achievements, including a high GPA, IELTS scores, and awards from Olympiads and competitions.
Despite this, the Ministry of Science assured that verification of all data is currently being conducted to form the final ranking indicators. The official results of the competition have not yet been approved or published, but will be posted on the government portal only after all checks are completed and approved in the established manner.
