The ministry's press service reported that a verification of all data is currently underway to form the rankings.
Official results will be published only after all verifications are completed and approved on the state portal. The ministry emphasized that the selection process is conducted in strict accordance with established rules, focusing on transparency, objectivity, and equal opportunities for all participants.
“The final ranking is formed by summing the average score of the educational document and the level of English proficiency. At this moment, the results of the competitive selection have not yet been approved or published. They will be submitted to the Hungarian side only after final approval,” the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations explained.

It is worth noting that the Kyrgyz side proposes a preliminary list of candidates; however, the final decision on the awarding of grants and enrollment is made by Hungarian institutions.
Officials urge participants in the selection process to understand the current verification and wait for the official results to be released.
Previously, readers of 24.kg reported difficulties in the national selection process for the international scholarship program Stipendium Hungaricum in 2026.
According to them, unlike previous years, this year the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations did not present an official general list of recommended candidates. Instead, individual decisions were sent to each applicant without publishing a final list.
This approach, according to the applicants, significantly reduces the transparency of the process because:
- public oversight is not ensured;
- there is no opportunity to compare competitive results;
- evaluation criteria and scoring system have not been published;
- candidates did not receive official explanations for the reasons for rejection.
According to available data, among those who did not pass the selection are applicants with high academic achievements (high GPA, IELTS results, victories in Olympiads and competitions).
