
Funding will be provided as a non-repayable grant
The modernization of the water supply system in Osh will be funded by South Korea, which will provide 10 million dollars. This information was announced at the city hall.
Recently, Mayor Janarbek Akaev held a meeting with representatives of the Korean corporation K-water, which specializes in water resource management.
During the meeting, details of the project aimed at implementing smart water supply management systems and ensuring the city has clean water were discussed. The grant funds will be used for the modernization of the Ozgur treatment plant and the transition of the city's infrastructure to digital and "smart" technologies.
