At the event held at the "Zhashtyk" arena, Aigul Japarova received a symbolic gift — a card featuring a flower named in her honor.
About 5,000 women from all corners of the city gathered for the celebration. Among the participants were also the mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Kanat Sagynbaev, and representatives of various public organizations.
The mayor delivered a welcoming speech, congratulating all women on March 8, wishing them health, happiness, and well-being. He emphasized the important role of women in the life of the city, noting that of more than 1.5 million residents of the capital, a significant portion are women who contribute greatly to the development of all aspects of urban life.
“You play an important role in raising children, developing education, culture, sports, and entrepreneurship. Your efforts shape values and create an atmosphere of care and trust in society,” the mayor noted.
He particularly highlighted the work of women employed at the municipal enterprises "Bishkekzelenstroy" and "Tazalyk," thanking them for their active participation in the beautification of the city.
The festive program included performances featuring classical and contemporary music, as well as numbers from well-known artists and creative groups, expressing deep appreciation for women’s achievements and their contributions to the development of society.
