In the city hall of Osh, a meeting took place between Janarbek Akayev, the mayor of the city, and Mukhtar Akhat, the Consul General of Kazakhstan.
The negotiations discussed significant areas for strengthening bilateral relations. In particular, ideas were proposed for developing cooperation within the framework of sister city relationships between Osh and the Kazakh cities of Shymkent and Taraz.
Furthermore, the parties considered a program of joint actions that includes organizing sports events and developing relations in the field of education and other areas.
During the conversation, the issue of strong ties between the two states, based on trust, friendship, and strategic partnership, was also raised. The participants of the meeting emphasized the importance of preserving and deepening the traditions of good neighborliness and previously reached agreements.
