A tree planting ceremony took place in Bishkek, dedicated to the regional conference "Education for Peace and Security." This event was part of the celebration of the International Day of Education on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, observed every year on March 5.
Important figures such as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Asein Isaev, and the head of the regional delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Central Asia, Biljana Milosevic, attended the event, which symbolized an ecological and peace initiative. Representatives from the OSCE Program Office in Bishkek, youth activists, and international experts also participated in the action.
Participants planted young trees that symbolize Kyrgyzstan's commitment to a world free of nuclear weapons and stability in the region. During the ceremony, it was emphasized that the Alley of Peace would serve as a reminder of the importance of educational initiatives in combating global threats and the necessity of ensuring security for future generations.
