The reasons for this decision remain unknown
Lawyers for the victim of a tragic accident in the USA, involving a truck driven by a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, have decided to withdraw the lawsuit against the driver and the responsible companies. This information has become available from open sources.
As a result of the accident, Donald Stiff sustained serious injuries, and four Amish individuals he hired for work were killed.
The defendants in the case include:
• Bekzhan Beishekeev (driver)
• AJ Partners LLC
• KG Line Group Incorporated
• Tutash Express Inc.
The lawsuit claimed that the driver acted negligently, failing to maintain a safe speed, disregarding road conditions, and violating traffic rules.
The document also stated that the responsible companies either knew or should have known that Beishekeev did not have a valid commercial driver's license.
However, the process lasted only one week. Subpoenas were issued, but before they could be served, the plaintiff decided to withdraw the lawsuit.
The court granted the withdrawal "without prejudice," meaning that the plaintiff has the option to file a lawsuit again in the future. The reasons for this decision have not been disclosed.
Among the possible reasons could be pre-trial settlements or tactical considerations from the lawyers.
Recall that the accident occurred on February 3 at around 4:00 PM on State Route 67. According to law enforcement, the truck was unable to stop before a vehicle moving ahead, crossed into oncoming traffic, and collided with a minibus carrying up to 15 people. As a result of the collision, four people were killed.
