Escalation in the Middle East. Kyrgyzstan officially supported Bahrain and Oman

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held telephone negotiations with Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the head of the foreign ministry of Bahrain. This information was published by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.

During the conversation, Kulubaev, on behalf of President Sadyr Japarov, expressed solidarity with the people of Bahrain in light of the increasing tensions affecting the territory of the Kingdom.

The parties expressed hope for a swift resolution of the conflict, the restoration of diplomatic dialogue, and the adoption of measures that promote peace and stability in the region, as stated in the official message.
After this, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan contacted Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, his counterpart from Oman, and conveyed a message from President Japarov regarding Kyrgyzstan's support for both Bahrain and Oman in the context of rising tensions in the area.
During the communication, security issues concerning the region were discussed, and the importance of returning to political and diplomatic negotiations was emphasized.

Logistical issues were also addressed with the Minister of Oman. Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude to Muscat for its assistance in evacuating citizens of the country from the Gulf states back to their homeland.
