Today, a flight from Jeddah landed at Manas International Airport, carrying 90 citizens of Kyrgyzstan. At the same time, another 120 compatriots returned on the Jeddah – Osh flight.
The returnees in Bishkek shared their impressions of their trip to Saudi Arabia.
One passenger, Ramis, noted: “We could not fly home, but thanks to the help of the president, the muftiate, and the embassy, we managed to return. We planned to leave on the night of February 28. The accommodation in the hotel was provided by the company organizing the Umrah.”
Another returnee, Torokeldi Ashymov, mentioned that the organizational issues were resolved at a high level.
“The company organized everything, and in my opinion, with the support of the state, a plane was allocated for us. The Kyrgyz people were doing well, the mood was joyful. We did not hear any explosions; we were in Mecca, where it was calm. We were already preparing to fly out, but all flights were canceled that day. As a result, we could only return after three days,” he shared.
