In 2026, Bishkek is expected to see a significant increase in greenery. As part of this project, about 2 million annual flowers will be planted in flowerbeds, parks, squares, and along the main streets.
According to information from the press service of the city hall, the municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy" has developed an extensive plan for floral decoration of the capital.
Thanks to the warm spring climate, it is expected that around 230 thousand tulips will bloom by April 10.
These bright floral compositions will traditionally adorn public spaces, thereby creating a festive atmosphere for residents and guests of the capital.
The process of planting flowers and caring for green spaces will be carried out in stages, which will help maintain the attractiveness of the flowerbeds throughout the season.
