In this year, Bishkek plans to decorate its streets and parks with nearly two million annual flowers, which will be planted in flowerbeds, squares, and along the city's main thoroughfares.
According to information from the city administration, in 2026, the greening efforts of the capital will significantly expand. The municipal enterprise "Bishkekzelenstroy" will implement a large-scale program aimed at the floral decoration of the city.
It is noted that due to the warm spring, the blooming of 230 thousand tulips is expected by April 10. Bright floral compositions will become a traditional decoration of public spaces and create a festive atmosphere for residents and guests of the capital.
The planting of flowers and care for the greenery will be carried out in stages, which will help maintain the attractiveness of the flowerbeds throughout the season.
