Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the launch of two flights aimed at repatriating citizens from Jeddah to Bishkek and Osh.

According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the first flight heading to Bishkek is carrying 90 citizens, while the second flight to Osh is transporting 120 people.
Both planes are en route and, according to preliminary data, are expected to land on home soil around 16:00 local time.
In accordance with the agreements reached, such flights will be conducted regularly: three times a week to Bishkek — on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and to Osh — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that efforts to ensure the safe return of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are ongoing.

It is worth noting that air traffic in this region was interrupted following the attack by Israel and the USA on Iran on February 28. As a result of these attacks, numerous air and missile strikes were carried out on Iranian cities and military facilities. In response, Tehran attacked Israel and American bases in several countries in the Middle East. In the early hours of the conflict, high-ranking Iranian officials and military personnel were killed. After the attacks began, U.S. President Donald Trump announced the start of a military operation called "Epic Fury" in his address.

As a result of these events, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, along with about ten other high-ranking Iranian officials. The new Supreme Leader of the country became the son of the slain Ayatollah, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Tensions in the region remain high and are causing serious concern.
