In the Batken region, there has been an increase in the number of residents who have insured their homes — this figure has risen by 1.4%. The director of the Batken branch of the State Insurance Organization, Zhaiyloobek Jakshylykov, shared this information with the Kabar agency.
According to him, since the beginning of the year, 4 people have already received payments for insurance claims related to property damage, totaling 489,000 soms. Throughout the entire year of 2025, compensations were paid to 13 citizens for a total amount of 1 million 636 thousand soms.
“Every year, the number of citizens who choose to insure their homes continues to grow. The figures for this year exceed the results of the same period last year by 1.4%. We are actively working in this direction, holding meetings and informational events in collaboration with local authorities in three districts and three cities. Our branch employees also go to the field to conduct training and events in accordance with the approved media plan. This work is aimed at increasing the level of insurance literacy and protecting the property of our citizens,” added Jakshylykov.
