Since the beginning of February, there has been a traditional increase in the import of fresh flowers in anticipation of the spring holidays, with the volume of supplies increasing by 31% compared to January, reaching 4.07 million units.
The main countries from which flowers are imported are Kenya, China, Ecuador, the Netherlands, and Colombia.
The most popular among buyers remain roses, carnations, orchids, chrysanthemums, and lilies, with roses making up the majority of the imports — 3.56 million units.
