Escalation in the Middle East. Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can leave Iran through Turkmenistan

Starting from March 2, residents of Kyrgyzstan wishing to leave the territory of Iran can use a new route through Turkmenistan, as reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, citing information from Turkmen authorities.

The ministry clarified that the following points are available for crossing the border:

The "Bajgiran" point, which is designated exclusively for holders of diplomatic passports;

The "Artyk" and "Sarahs" points, open to all citizens with regular passports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reminded that in case of any questions, citizens can contact the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan located in Turkmenistan or directly reach out to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
