The event was held at the monument to Ormon-Khan Niyazbek uulu in the ethnocomplex "Ormon-Khan," located in the village of Semiz-Bel in the Kochkor district.
The Deputy Head of the Kochkor District State Administration, Talgat Isaev, delivered a speech dedicated to the anniversary of the flag's adoption.
At the end of the speech, the national flag was raised, and those present, including heads of institutions and village leaders, paid tribute to this state symbol.
- The State Flag of Kyrgyzstan was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh on March 3, 1992, and on March 5 of the same year, it was first raised over the government building.
- On December 20, 2023, the Jogorku Kenesh considered the issue of amendments to the state flag. On December 22, 2023, President Sadyr Japarov signed the Law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on State Symbols," which changed the wavy shape of the sun's rays on the flag to a straight line.
