
The streets of the city were filled with youth dressed in ak kalpaks and holding state flags. Participants in the march emphasized that this event symbolizes respect for the national symbols and traditions of the Kyrgyz people.
The Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Batken region, Aibek Shamenov, addressed the residents of the region with congratulations on the occasion of the holidays. He noted that the State Flag is a symbol of the history, culture, and hope of the Kyrgyz people for the future. Additionally, the ak kalpak was described by him as a significant hereditary symbol embodying wisdom, purity, and dignity.
“We should unite under our sacred flag, hold the ak kalpak high, and continue to work for the prosperity of our country,” he added.
The festive program concluded with performances by local artists who performed various songs and national dances.
