On January 6, on the night before Christmas, Bishop Savvaty led the festive Divine Liturgy at the Holy Resurrection Cathedral, gathering a multitude of believers wishing to share in the joy of this bright holiday.

During the communion hymn, Priest Georgy Dvorov read the Christmas message addressed to the believers of the Russian Orthodox Church from Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia.

Before the sermon, Bishop Savvaty announced the Christmas message of Metropolitan Vikentiy, head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District.

In his address, the bishop emphasized that the Nativity of Christ is not only a remembrance of an event from two millennia ago but also an important spiritual reality relevant to the life of every Christian. He noted that the joy of Christmas begins here on earth and manifests through prayer, service, and good deeds.
