
Filming has begun in Kyrgyzstan for a feature-length documentary titled “Issyk-Kul — the fragile pearl of Kyrgyzstan.” This information was provided by the press service of the Union of Cinematographers, as reported by 24.kg.
The film will focus on the ecological challenges and issues related to the preservation of the unique lake. The filming team is led by Tynai Ibragimov, a People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, with operators Ernes Mamytov and Nurdana Karybekov among the crew.


The film will also showcase the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the tourism-ecological police in the fight against poaching.
The creation of the film is being carried out at the “Kyrgyztelefilm” studio in accordance with the presidential decree on necessary measures for the protection of the ecology of Issyk-Kul Lake.
