The Kyrgyz Republic ratified the credit agreement with the OPEC Fund for International Development.

The President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, has signed a law confirming the ratification of a loan agreement with the OPEC Fund for International Development. This document was adopted by the country's parliament in early February of this year.

The agreement, known as the "First Program for Sustainable and Inclusive Growth," was officially signed on September 22, 2025, in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek.

The Ministry of Finance is now required to notify the OPEC Fund for International Development of the completion of all internal procedures necessary for the loan agreement to take effect.

The law will come into force 10 days after its official publication.
