“After a year, a driver may receive a fine without knowing that the permit has expired. For example, when driving on Abdrahmanov Street, an inspector may issue a fine of 20,000 soms. If 'Unaa' issues such permits, please inform drivers about the approaching expiration through 'Tunduk.' This will allow them to timely renew their documents,” the deputy urged Talantbek Junushev, the deputy head of the president's office.
In response, the official assured that the deputy's suggestion would be taken into account.Also, Dastan Bekeshev proposed to set a fixed cost for the tinting permit at 35,000 soms.
“I propose to establish a uniform amount of 35,000 soms for a year without the possibility of discounts for a short term. Alternatively, provide the option to extend at the same price, as some drivers' permits expire in April, and they cannot renew them in advance. As a result, they will have to pay 50,000 soms,” he added.
We remind you that tomorrow, March 3, the temporary discount campaign for obtaining permits ends.
The current fees are:
- 35,000 soms - for individuals;
- 55,000 soms - for legal entities;
- 75,000 soms - for non-residents.
