On March 1, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, accompanied by the Akim of the Ak-Tala district, Mirlan Kamchybekov, and representatives of local authorities, inspected sections of the Naryn River that pose a potential threat. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
During the inspection, areas that could threaten both the population and agricultural lands were examined. The agency stated that necessary measures would be taken in the near future to eliminate these threats.
It is worth noting that issues related to strengthening the riverbed of the Naryn River and ensuring the safety of settlements in the Togolok Moldu rural district were discussed last year at the IV People's Kurultai with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
