In light of the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, an interdepartmental headquarters has been temporarily established in Kyrgyzstan. This decision was made to ensure the return of citizens to their homeland. This was reported by the Umrah department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
According to representatives of the organization, the escalation in the region has led to the suspension of flights intended for the sacred pilgrimage of Umrah, creating a difficult situation.
In connection with the above, the Umrah department of the Spiritual Administration has reached out to citizens who are currently in Mecca and Medina for the minor pilgrimage.
“We urge you to show patience and understanding in the current circumstances. Follow the instructions of the organizers and do not panic. We are waiting for the situation to stabilize and flights to resume. During this time, we ask you to pray for peace in the world, the unity of Muslims, and the development of our country,” the message states.
Additionally, those planning to go for Umrah are advised to closely monitor the unfolding events and consider undertaking the pilgrimage only after the situation in the region normalizes.
