On February 27, 2026, the National Brand Competition "One Village - One Product" (OVOP) took place in Bishkek. This event became an important platform for summarizing the work of the regions and showcasing the best products created within this project.
According to the Ministry of Economy of Kyrgyzstan, more than 57 product names from all regions of the country were presented at the 2025 competition. Each region selected its best products, which underwent preliminary selection at the regional level. All participants received regional brand certificates confirming their compliance with quality, uniqueness, and competitiveness standards.
The competition included a main nomination, where gold, silver, and bronze medals were awarded for the best OVOP products.
As a result of the evaluation, the winners were:
The gold medal was awarded to "Dan Kurai Concentrates" from producer Nurgül Isakova from Batken region.
The silver medal went to "Miste Pechenesi" from Aliyarova Gülchehra from Jalal-Abad region.
The bronze medal was awarded to "Khurma Chipsileri" from Oktamova Saidakhon.
Additionally, 19 products from the OVOP project received special awards in various nominations:
- "Best Category";
• "Best Regional Product";
• "Most Active Region".

The OVOP project is a large-scale national initiative that has been operating since 2017 in all seven regions of Kyrgyzstan. Starting from 2023, the project has reached an international level, expanding its influence to neighboring countries — Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Its goal is to develop local production, support regional entrepreneurs, improve product quality, and promote domestic brands in both domestic and foreign markets.
In recent years, OVOP products have been successfully exported to Japan, European countries, the United Arab Emirates, the USA, and other states.
