International experts will assist in the development of the General Plan for the city of Osh » Gazeta.kg

At a meeting between the Deputy Mayor of Osh, Shumkarbek Paizieva, and representatives of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Svetlana Alelekova and Matsumoto Daiki, key aspects of the project for creating the General Plan of the city were discussed. This information was provided by the press service of the mayor's office of the southern capital.

According to the press service, during the meeting, potential avenues for cooperation with JICA were analyzed, aimed at conducting analytical studies, as well as providing technical and expert support in the development of the General Plan.

During the discussion, the Deputy Mayor emphasized that the General Plan has significant strategic importance for the mayor's office and noted the necessity of applying international experience and modern urban planning approaches, which is especially important for the successful implementation of the project, as stated in the press release.
