Erlis Akunbekov: The Aircraft Fleet of Kyrgyzstan is Being Reinforced with New Airplanes

At the republican meeting chaired by Erlis Akunbekov, who holds the position of Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads the Ministry of Water Management and Agriculture, important information regarding the aviation sector was announced.

He reported that the country's airports managed to acquire three new airplanes, investing 2 billion 385 million soms using their own funds.

“There are also plans to add a Q400 model aircraft and two Airbus A321s to the fleet. In addition, 8 billion 400 million soms have been allocated for the modernization of the infrastructure of domestic airports,” Erlis Akunbekov added.

According to him, as of today, 11 airports have been certified and are operating normally.
